Antisemitism on college campuses is a real and growing problem

Leading Israel Where It Matters Most - Volleyball Player Erel Bardah

Meet Erel Bardah, a volleyball team captain at the University of Charleston, West Virginia, and one of The Israel Bridge’s most impactful ambassadors.

On a campus with only three Israeli students, Erel doesn’t stay quiet, he leads. From organizing events to speaking up against antisemitism, he uses his platform to proudly represent Israel.

Most recently, he led a Passover initiative on campus, bringing students together in the cafeteria with matzah and chocolate, and inviting a local rabbi to share the story of Passover. The university supported and funded the event. 

Beyond his athletic achievements, Erel has demonstrated outstanding academic and leadership excellence. He was named to the Dean’s List for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society, recognizing his academic excellence, athletic commitment, and character.
